MIT

MIT= Minimum Irradiance Threshold (W/m2)

The MIT is defined between the contracting parties, and is therefore individual (according to plant type and location). It is a threshold value of how much sun (W/m2) as a minimum, must shine on a component to be productive. Typical values are between 50-70 W/m2. The current irradiation value can be obtained from a weather data provider or an irradiation sensor.
