Discontinuation of the Production of Legacy Devices

We have discontinued the following models and variants:
Solar-Log 200, Solar-Log 500, Solar-Log 1000 and associated versions BT, WiFi, BT WiFi, GPRS, GPRS PM+, WiFi PM+.  
As of March 31, 2021, firmware updates and licenses will no longer be available for these devices and the models will not receive any further support, for example in the event of a fault.

In addition, the following models (Solar-Log 250, Solar-Log 300, Solar-Log 1200, Solar-Log 1900, Solar-Log 2000) and their variants (BT, BT WiFi, GPRS, GPRS PM+, PM+, WiFi, WiFi PM+, Meter) will continue to receive support for critical errors and security gaps.

Due to strong customer demand regarding the Redispatch 2.0 adjustments, we would like to offer you the possibility to use a direct marketing license with your older device. However, please note the following disadvantages:

  • there is no further development of the drivers. Therefore, if an inverter has to be exchanged for a new model in order to convert the direct marketing, no driver will be provided for this.

  • If an inverter fails due to adverse circumstances, a new model cannot be integrated due to a lack of drivers.

  • the mentioned devices are not VDE compatible, because they do not meet the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4110. If conversion to the currently valid grid connection guidelines should occur in this course, a change to the Solar-Log Base is required.

  • the license fee is linked to the Solar-Log™ device and CAN NOT be transferred unless the device is within the warranty period. If the Solar-Log™ device fails outside the warranty period, a new license must also be purchased with the new Solar-Log™ device.

  • no warranty is given if the Solar-Log™ should fail when installing new firmware or a new license.
