Enerest ToGo Version 7.0 - Release notes
Release: 14.02.2024
Add pictures and documents to plant details
Taking pictures via the Enerest ToGo app
There is a new menu item in the plant settings. Existing documents and images can be viewed via the documents area. New documents can also be uploaded and images taken.
If a picture is taken via the Enerest ToGo app, it can be cropped afterwards. It is also possible to mark areas in the image or to draw in the image.
Uploading documents and images via external apps
From now on, images and documents can also be uploaded to the Enerest ToGo app via the sharing function of the smartphone used.
To do this, select the plant and then the folder to which the document is to be added.
The size of the documents is limited to 10MB as the file storage has a maximum of 200MB.
Change portals
If a user has more than one portal, it is now possible to switch between the portals in the Enerest ToGo app.
The notifications and global settings only remain active for the main portal. No push notifications are received from subordinate portals that are not stored as the main portal.
Individual widget layout
Each user can now customise the layout of the widgets in the plant view in the global settings. To do this, a preferred layout is created in the global settings and saved. As soon as the user opens a plant, the widgets are arranged according to the layout.
The arrangement in the settings is set using drag & drop. This means that the user selects a widget by tapping on it for a long time and can then drag it to the desired position.
All widgets are available in the settings. If a plant does not have all the components to display certain widgets, this is not displayed in the plant view, but only the widgets that are actually filled with data.
Share and export reports
The yield and balance reports can now be shared from the Enerest ToGo app or exported as CSV or pdf.

Known issues
With the current data protection guidelines on Android the library we are using for biometrical login can no longer support FaceID. On Android devices we now only provide biometrical login via fingerprint.
We are looking for a solution to enable FaceID again.
The push notifications can be suppressed by the respective operating systems if too many alarms remain unopened. In this case, the notifications are downgraded in priority by the smartphones system and no longer displayed to the user.
