Enerest Automations - Rules

Each Enerest automation consists of an "if this, then that" rule that can be created according to the use cases.

 Create a rule

To create a new rule, please follow these steps:

  1. At the top right corner of the automation overview page you will find a yellow "+" button.

  2. As soon as you create a new rule, you can specify the following details:

    1. Name of the automation

    2. Description

    3. Notification of errors during automation

    4. Owner

  3. Select trigger

    1. In version 1 of Enerest Automation, there is a trigger for selection

      1. "Alarm detected"

  4. Select "If" condition

    1. A condition from the following categories can be selected as the "If" condition:

      1. Alarm type

      2. Selection of systems - globally all plants or individual plants

  5. Several "If" conditions can be added one after the other

  6. Select action

    1. In version 1 of Enerest Automations, there is one action to choose from

      1. "Send email"

      2. Enter the details for the email

      3. Recipient

      4. Optional CC

      5. Optional BCC

      6. Subject

      7. Content of the email

  7. Saving and activating the automation

To select an alarm type for a specific plant, you need two "If" conditions. The sequence of the events is irrelevant.

  1. Select alarm type

  2. Select system
